I'm so excited about weddings being back in full swing. Yeah, summer was here for all of 2 days but you really don't need sun to celebrate love and romance. I don't think so anyway.
I think most people would take rain over restrictions anyway. But even weddings in lockdown are particularly romantic. It's saying, "I really don't care about the fancy frills and everyone else, let's just get married". Like eloping, but a bit more convenient as it's probably a lot closer to home.
Here's a lovely little two-tier macaron wedding cake we made for Svetlana and Victor. I love the pretty pink drip and the buttercream flowers and pastel macarons together. It's classic freshly-baked vanilla sponge too. Sure, it's a design that's been around for ten years, but just as love doesn't go out of fashion, neither does good taste.
This sweet little wedding cake was delivered to Slough. Our London-famous (some even say..."world-famous", oh stop it, makes me chuckle) cakes are available for delivery to Slough, Windsor and Ascot for as little as £10.
I'm keeping this blog post short and sweet because there's about 2 more hours left of the day in this uncharacteristically balmy September weekend. Enjoy!
Lots of love,
Reshmi xoxo
