We are a small, independent, and vibrant high-end cake and pastry bakery seeking a part-time baker/cake decorator to join our team. If you have a passion for baking and creativity, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
This role offers a hands-on experience within a dynamic team, where you will collaborate closely with our head chef to craft our diverse range of baked goods. We're constantly expanding our catalogue, so creativity is always encouraged!
Job Specifications
- Prepare our high-end selection of cakes, macarons, cookies, and more as per orders
- Assist with stock management and inventory checks
- Adhere to HACCP and maintain cleanliness in the workspace
- Collaborate within a small team to uphold our high standards and fulfil orders
- Conveniently commute to and from our production premises in TW8, London
Candidates must possess:
- Prior professional experience in bakery, catering, or cake decorating
- A positive attitude and a passion for baking
- The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Experience in decorating cakes with buttercream
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- The capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Pay: £14,500 - £17,250 per annum (pro-rated for part-time)

Cake Delivery Driver - 4 Days - Feb 2024

We're on the lookout for a full-time cake delivery driver to join our growing team at our London-based bakery. If you're enthusiastic, reliable, and love the idea of bringing smiles to customers' faces with our delicious cakes, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Efficiently deliver cakes to customers across London and Surrey, ensuring timely arrivals and maintaining product quality
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing our brand with professionalism and friendliness
- Assist with loading and unloading cakes and equipment from the delivery vehicle
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the bakery team regarding delivery schedules
Requirements:
- A valid UK driving license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in delivery driving or a similar role
- Familiarity with London and Surrey roads and neighbourhoods
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to handle and transport delicate items with care
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work full-time hours, including occasional weekends or evenings as needed
- Right to work in the UK
Pay: Competitive hourly wage based on experience
