As an 80s kid growing up in Kuwait, anything imported was a real luxury. People would gift each other big round blue tins of Danish butter cookies. Friends and family visiting Europe would bring back McVities Digestives as gifts. Small gestures maybe, but they left big impacts. I had an Indian uncle who used to live in London and visit Kuwait every so often, and he would always bring me back a Terry's chocolate orange. That, to me, was the ultimate luxury—way more than a Ferrero Rocher. I've revisited that feeling of excitement from unwrapping my Terry's chocolate orange and created this cake with it.

Feel the same excitement I felt as a kid by unboxing this cake and being hit with the intoxicating smell of Terry's chocolate orange, only intensified more with Valrhona Belgian chocolate.

What makes this cake truly special is the blend of premium Valrhona cocoa, Callebaut chocolate, and zingy orange zest, along with the familiarity of Terry's chocolate orange and Jaffa Cakes. The chocolatey richness is tempered with smooth Swiss meringue buttercream, and the striking colours and glossy, inviting chocolate drip make this cake look as good as it smells and tastes.

To preserve our signature design and flavour, we currently offer customisation limited to personalised messages on the cake board. For bespoke requests, please get in touch.
